The Loft
Our primary suite (Sleeps two) is gorgeous, warm, and spacious, featuring an adjoining bathroom. The bed is comfortable and made up with premium linens. The bar counter overlooks the backyard and made from reclaimed wood from the original house. The furnishings have been collected over time.
Friends and Family
Need additional sleeping quarters when travelling with friends or family? This beautiful, fresh bedroom (sleeps two) can be added to The Loft package at an additional cost. This room adjoins the Loft and bathroom. Situated in the oldest part of the “Gadsby” house with original pine floors and millwork.
Bathroom
Exclusive when renting the Loft alone, shared when you add the Friends and Family room. Roomy 42 inch shower with natural bath products. Upscale vanity offering ample workspace with storage for hair dryer and extra towels. Heated floor in the cooler months.
The Backyard
We have multiple seating areas depending on your needs. Cozy shady spots or places to enjoy a glass of wine or take out meal. In the evenings, the mood lighting provides the right ambiance to just sit back and relax.
Private Entrance
Privacy and Independence are important to our guests. The coded entrance goes directly to the Loft. At night the pathway is fully lit from dusk to dawn.
Take a Break / Enjoy the Sights
You need to escape now and then; a chance to slow down and recharge. Yes, Stratford offers theatres, great restaurants, but she also has wonderful walking paths, gardens along the lake and river. An opportunity to stroll and enjoy the swans or take a boat ride. There's also golf nearby. Perth County offers many opportunities to relax and enjoy!

Barb, an accomplished designer who saw the opportunity to transform Church Street into what greets you today. The house celebrates the old and new. She also designed the oasis in the backyardthat guests are welcome to enjoy.
